I've seen that diffuser in diagrams and always questioned how much it does, once sitting behind a '99 lip.

Looks like it's not just "mesh" behind the bumper, it has a thin lip edge that contours perfectly with the vent opening outer shape...

Is it me, or does that not even look like mesh? But rather an insert (blocker) with mesh painted on?

Yeah it looks like a plastic shield with mesh on the back. Never seen anything like that available, but seems "easy" enough to make.

Kinda bummed out to hear that. I really cherish the the car, the history, and all the artifacts of it's story...

Had to settle and get some clear rear reflectors which have been previously modded for bulbs, instead of those nutty true clear rears. Will see how bright they end up. Or, maybe I can crack them open and "defrost" them with acetone? Got some true clear stanleys for the front markers. You can see the difference a bit. Seems like original clears are pretty uncommon at this point. I do like the colored markers after all these years. But, though it'd be fun to try these with some LEDs. Will send them to the FS section, if I don't love 'em.

Got some cool old brochures on the way, too. Will post them up when they arrive.

I've seen that diffuser, many modern cars have something similar. Seems like a lowered car would be constantly scraping it, though.

I think quite often its also used as a first line of defense against scraping more important parts down low... I'd like to measure it to see how far down it hangs by comparison with the 99-spec OEM lip, as well as aftermarket front lips... I'd definitely rather scrape that plastic and then stop and air up my aircups, than to scrape off some pristine front lip paint. Ah hah, here it is on RHDJapan, about to order..

Are these Technomagnesio wheels considered rare? I got them from Ptrhahn a while ago.

Anyone familiar with this emblem?

The seller states they were installed on cars that were sold as complete Mazdaspeed vehicles from dealers in Japan.

Totally cool if you ask me.

C-Spec chassis plates for C-Spec cars were fitted on the firewall, maybe the badge above too but the badge in the picture was fitted to the rear of every car fitted with a good amount or all the MS gear from what i have seen. Maybe they had full A-Spec cars u could buy. Which would of been cool as very possible. There is another style of badge that is thinner, came in a few different colors (red, black, blue, and maybe more) that says "tuned by mazdaspeed sports factory tokyo japan" that was fitted to the rear, dash, sides, and i have seen it on parts too (still rare but more common to find the thin plate than the thick plate). There was no SOP but the thick one i have only seen on the rear of A-Spec catalog cars.

Hi Circuit Theory. This is a long shot considering the date of this thread but any chance you have resources to get a pair of Mazdaspeed seats (a-specs)? I’m in Los Angeles.

thanks in advance for any help.

I plead the 5th... Just kidding, i was heavily thinking about getting it but decided not to at the moment. Wanted to put it on the black FD but timing is not right for me to spend on a gauge cluster.

On another note....

Mazdaspeed CF Intake Box is on. Mazdaspeed SMIC will go on after some fin repairs and possibly some powdercoating. Not sure if i want to keep the metal look or powdercoat it black to make it more low key.

That’s a good chunk of cash for a cluster.
