I'm really OCD about some stuff. I have to complete the car to the best of my abilities because I care about it so much. I don't mind if my other FD is garbage but this one has to be the best I can reasonably provide. I put so much effort in to the car and it is almost done. I feel like I am in the home stretch of my original goals for the car and I'd feel pretty bad if I stopped now. It is pretty crazy but that is just the way I am. I don't think anyone who really knows me is surprised at all. I can see why people think it is nuts. The plaque isn't very functional but then again, buying the Spirit R gauge cluster, shift ****, ebrake and boots isn't really anymore functional than stock.

while I understand why the normal person wouldn't want one, I can understand why Supernat wants one, he's trying to make as close a spirit r replica as possible.
That said I would kind of want one too, its just a cool little thing to have, but I would probably get it framed or mounted on a plaque and hang it in the garage next to my rotor and housing from my first blown motor with authentic battle damage.

I was offered a Greddy elbow and some cash from my Stillway piece...but I've never seen another one in the states so I figured I should hold onto it. Also it has a big boss cast in at the back of the elbow..perfect for drilling and tapping for some auxiliary sensor/sprayer.
