FD crank to trigger wheel positioning

Ok. So which way does the timing trigger wheel go on the crank? It can go on 2 ways, 180F out. I seem to recall that it depends on the key way position? Can anyone elaborate?

It only goes on one way. Yes the pins will allow you to install it 2 different ways but the bolt holes will allow only one of those ways to actually work.
