Double Din For The FD
Hey Guys,
Time to clean up the interior and get a double din unit. Did some searching only to find dated posts on what’s needed to install so have a couple questions for those that have tackled in the past.
1). Where can I get an install kit that will be universal to the double din unit selected?
2). Looking at the Pioneer AVH-601EX, looks like it has decent functionality with a nice screen size. Anyone have success with a unit that’s easy to install and fits cleanly in our cars?

Depends on what the previous stereo was in the FD.
If someone already cut your dash bar out between the DINs there is a specific double din kit you have to get.
If your dash is stock you can get a head unit with single DIN entry into dash and double din screen. These are available in top DIN or bottom DIN.
