I currently reside in Okinawa Japan and also travel to mainland quite often. With that said I was going to try and bring back an rx7 but realized I do not want to deal with all the BS and headaches. So I will wait to buy an FD until I get back to the states. What parts should I collect or " hoard" while I am still here? I have had friends do this for wrx's and 2.5rs and they snag parts for cheap as hell. If I am not in the right section of the forum I apologize. Rims are number one on my list by the way. Is there any parts that would be easier to find here?

 

I'd say look for all the stuff from defunct out of business rotary specialty shops like Run Racing and other obscure shops. Stuff from RE Amemiya and FEED is obvious. Old discontinued exhaust systems like the 4 inch HKS full titanium system. I think instrument panels from any tuners are always a good find. Heaven knows there's a market for old C's shifters too.
