I can't seem to find any info on this splitter that attaches to the 99spec lip. I've never seen it before and I'm wondering if anyone out there knows who makes it?

I have made one of those out of black ABS. Little time consuming, but not too tricky. Trace, cut, sand and paint (optional)

but i would also be curious who makes one ready to buy!

 

That looks like an 06-07 STi lip.

I'm thinking this is not a direct application meaning it's either homemade or retrofitted from some something else as Brody pointed out. I'll continue digging and if I come up with something, I will update this thread.

I'll have to take some measurements but at around 40 bucks it's worth experimenting.

 

 

I own a 2007 and 2014 STI so i can check to see if width matches.

it is the 06-07 sti lip. i remember him saying to had to mod it "slightly" to make it fit

lol Trust me I know it sounds asinine to get a lip for a lip. But to answer your question Natey:

I'm trying add black accents to offset the yellow of my car. For the longest time I've been wanting to add the feed style side steps to my Apex'i style sides. What is stopping me is that my 99 lip is yellow instead of black and I know that I wouldn't like the look because it needs a continuous line. That is exactly why my lip is yellow, it links with the sideskirts via color.

The FD is getting a bit older so a double chin doesn't look out of place to me.










Plus, it gives you an excuse to say chin chin.

In the instagram shots that show the side of the car I have to admit the front lip's lip looks pretty good with the side skirt's side skirt.

Its literally like he said "I'll take two of each, thank you."

But it worked out in the end.

 

How does he drive this thing? I scrape easily and my car isn't even that low.
