Just wanted to announce the opening of the Registry / FD website ( http://www.fd3s.cc ) I have developed and worked on with the help of Christian (Railgun69)…

Many of you that have entered registry information in this thread will find that your data has already been migrated into the site. However some of you who have posted your VIN's with the check digit omitted, or those that have not posted with a VIN at all have not been added these into the database. I will need the full VIN for recording and verifying uniqueness. Please note that on the new site your VIN will always display with the check digit omitted for security purposes. There are also other administrative only fields when registering your FD such as email address and last name, neither of these will be viewable by end users.

The site also contains several other features, a Photo Gallery, an aftermarket part based photo search, howto sections and other general FD related information. The photo search is one portion of the site that I am still working on and trying to index all of the images that I have acquired.

Thanks again to Railgun69, FDNewbie, pugg57, and RotorMotor for their help with testing and idea's.

Jon's done an EXCELLENT job guys...not just on the site, but by taking all the crap and nitpicky stuff I kept on harrassing him w/ lol... It's awesome. Two things:

1) Can we somehow take down all the info in this sticky, and just make it a sticky to join the official registry?

2) Anyone wanna contact TpCpLaYa (the pic man) and ask him if he would mind letting us use his pic collection on this site? Because he has them sorted by category, body part, manufacturer, etc, and they're TONS of pics...having a search engine for it would make it AWESOME.

 

Yeah Ramy, it would be great if we could get this thread cleared of everything above my announcemnet post. And the more pic's the merrier. Now I just need to finish indexing all the pictures that are currently on the site.

We just recently (one day ago) got the Registry website up and running, so we're working on having all the posts in this sticky deleted, and just leaving the sticky up as a reminder for people to register their car on the website... So we're getting there... (hint hint Christian )
