WG and TPC pills, removed adn inspected
well in my quest for perfect boost, and advice from some members that TPC and WG pills are differnet sizes, I removed them and inspected them. WHat I found was that they both looked almost exactly the same. I couldn;t tell the differnce in size at all. The only diffence was diffenrt marking on the side, one had an extra rib arounf the pill. Anyway, I switched them around anyway, installed and ran the car. I didn't notice anything different. I guess my question is since we have all agreed that they are differnt sizes and that the TPC is the smaller, is the size differnce visiable, or too small to tell?
thanks, I know my turbos have ben removed to replace gaskets, so it is possible that the wrong pills were put in. Can someone please help me out.

yes the turbo pre-control is slightly smaller... But you should be
just able to tell the difference. unless your eyesight is bad. the pre-control is a 59 jet...
and the wastegate is a 64 jet...
best wishes jc...

I have also been messing with the pills lately and have made several larger ones to try out. When I mix them up the only way I can acurately determine their sizes is by using a set of machinist drill bits and a drill indexing plate.
