Siliconce hose job.
I'm going to be doing the silicone hose job on my FD and I'm wondering if I need to buy a new intake manifold gasket. The engine has 41K on it.

i doubt you'll need a new one. i haven't heard of anyone replacing it although the shop manual might recommend it. the gasket is relatively robust as long as you don't bend it when you take it out.

Carefull with soleniods "J" & "L". Neither diagaram show the tubing very well.
Be really careful about removign the tubing. Cutting with an exacto is better. I broke one solenoid and it was $50. It quickly can become cheaper to pay for it. I did my own and it was not impossible. Good luck. Your back will be soar. it takea about two days. Don't get high till your done ;D

I believe the very early 93' models originally had paper gaskets. If you have that you should definitely get a new metal one. If you already have a metal gasket you should be fine.
