questions on midpipes

as anyone had bad experiences with a midpipe? what are the differences between the resonated midpipe and a regular one? also...is it worth the extra money to get a stainless steel one? ive also heard things about them being overwhelmingly loud. is it really that unbearable? and one last question....is the boost creep preventable by a greddy profec B or similar boost controller? any help and input are apprecated.

Lowdown on a midpipe - they will give you the biggest gain but less torque - especially down low, extremely loud (with RB exhaust not too bad) but with N1 or GT exhaust it's loud! - some people have trouble with boost creep even with a Profec B - some people don't - just depends on your car - more smelly of gas fumes - illegal in a lot of states - and hard to tune for in colder climates but you will see 25-40 rwhp and a hi-flo cat you'll see 10-15 rwhp. A resonated mp will quiet it a little.
