power (turbo) problem !?!?!?!?
Pardon my ignorance...... this may be a dumb question.....
My stock 3rd gen. seems to have plenty of ***** at low rpm acceleration. However, the push of the engine seems to fizzle out right about the time that i assume the second turbo should be kicking in (3-5K rpm). When i first got it in december... it seemed to have a very consistent, even power band up through 6-7K rpms.
Also, if i jump on the throttle (say right out of 1st or 2nd gear)... it winds out, but when i shift to the next gear... a similar situation... less power and a light "gurgling" noise. I expect to be pushed back in my seat again, but it just doesn't happen! If i back off the throttle a bit and keep the engine at a consistent speed.. and then jump on it again... it gets some power back. This i assume is the first turbo again, but i am not sure.
So what is the problem... vacuum lines, bad turbos...what???
Any educated advice or experience would be helpful.

from what i have read you probably have a problem with the vac tank. by letting off you build vacuum quickly which is there when you punch it again. go to derek vanditmar's site for a good troubleshooting, though cryptic, guide.
