The F3 is around 1:33 on that configuration. Your right its completely different but I was just curious. The brake zone into the hairpin must have been a nightmare.

I like the new color a lot though... Is it actual BMW leather?
Around 400m before the hairpin I had to brake to don´t crash into the cars in front of me...
Braking power was like :
Brakes: 50%
Downshifting: 50%
But yes... not funny at all.
On 3rd round I had to step 3 times onto the pedal to brake.
Pumping two times to pressurize the air-pockets one time to brake. Not the best you can do to achieve fast times. haha
@ metalcore:
Nice setup. everything working now?
What numbers do you have now?
btw. what are your times on the hockenheimring? Mr. wannabe Schumacher.

Fendamonky... The question is really what you want to spend on leather. It varies a great deal. I bought one plain hide and a half hide perforated to cover just the front of the seats. Hides generally run about 45-55 square feet. You really need two hides. One per seat. Sometimes it can go to two and a half hides. So, at $18 per square foot, its $900 for a 50 square foot hide. You can get leather as inexpensively as $5 per square foot. The cost in labor is about $1500-2500 or so, depending on the complexity of the seat. (I find covering the Recaro RZ seats very hard. You cannot really avoid wrinkles.) The cost in labor really pays for any design work you might want, like double-stitching, multiple colors, whatever.

I could not agree more... Funny thing is that the set of the RE Amemiya mirrors has one mirror bigger than the other... why: I dont know...

I have some flush craft squares as well.. I love them...the more and more I see stock mirrors the more and more they ruin the lines of our fd's... but thats just my opinion.

it should be the passenger side thats smaller right?
alot of car companies used to do it, my dads mercedes from back in the day had it too, i believe the driver side is full sized so u dont get a blind spot, and the passenger sized is smaller cus it has the convex mirror so it can be smaller and show the same amount of area with smaller mirror...less mirror, less drag i guess...so they compromise on the size of the passenger side mirror...weight savings or less drag or somethin lol

The smaller square mirrors are really just a personal thing. They are smaller and lighter than stock so in theorie they should have less drag than the stock mirrors. Most Japanese time attack cars and GTC cars run these mirrors as well...
As for the Curvy Amemiya on the Pink car.... those things are ugly and look like they weigh a good 20 lbs. I know everything Amemiya is like "GOD" to all the Rotor heads around here but I feel some of his designs actually ruin the FD. I don't like the way he installs Porsche front ends on the FD or how he changes the rear hatch with the one that has the round light pods on the outside... AGAIN... this is MY PERSONAL opinion... I like some of his items NOT all....
