I'm not sure what % the tint is. I asked for the darkest possible without it being "obvious". They told me the number, but I cant remember...

Looks like 15%, most places won't go darker than that on the doors. Hatch is most likely 5%

So you're the one that bought that car. That was one of my favorite FD's a LONG time ago when i first starting looking at them and Jay owned it. I had his page bookmarked for updates.

Clearer pic..

The car when I bought it...

The car today.. (3 weeks later)

Slightly clearer pic. The front bumper is the Burnout front bumper. I have the rest of the kit too and I'm having it put on soon. Yes those are dark chrome Rx8 wheels too (I noticed a few people asking if any1 had tried it). Incidentally, to settle a score, tyres are 235 as opposed to standard 225 (yokohomas all round).

I intend to remove the spoiler, and to spray the silver mesh at the sides black. The indicators will also be moved to the wing mirrors. Then when I can afford to have the rest of the burnout kit installed I will, and will buy deep dish alloys to match.

The colour, incase any1 asks, is a custom dark grey/greeny/brown. Sometimes looks black, sometimes looks gun metal.

Yeah, i've owned it for about 2 years now. Still run's perfect although it sits mostly in the garage now cause we had a baby so I have no time to enjoy it really.

nice transformation rx7hunter, i really like the burntout kit in black but so so in other colors. Great upgrade from veilside though.

Could be a family car?

There are two moulded seats at the back which is brilliant for my little ones! The kids at school stop and stare. I try not to do the school runs on it that often

That sounds great. How old are your kids?... I bet they love getting picked up and dropped off to school in the FD... Your kids are probably popular in school... Note to self. Cool sports cars are good for kids social status in school... lol
