Here's a few photos of my FD... wa involved in a big accident in march last year and its almost finished... this was a photo from a few months ago..

Now has a front mount and few other goodies. - Most likely not to the liking of many here hehe.

 

I like the paint color and exterior styling. I have to pass on the interior painted panels. Did you reupholster the stock seats to white?

 

not exactly my style, but nice car anyway. I've got the same front bumper here ready for paint. Did you do any mods on the engine? (single turbo?)

I'm planning on buying the Ikeya Formula shifter, seems like an awsome concept! A dogbox would make it complete, though.. full throttle on upshifts no clutch, hell yeah!

Its climate control - Pretty rare on FD's.

Yeah reupholstered the standard seats with white leather, blue stitching with "RX-7" stitched in blue in the headrest.

As for the engine, I left the twins in at the moment, with basically bolt ons with FMIC, full exhaust, PFC etc... hoping to build an engine shortly.

I have the same Alpine head unit and trying to see the display is all but impossible when it's sunny outside, and I only drive mine when it's sunny.

I have mine mounted in the top slot rather than the lower like yours. That storage door makes a nice little visor. Perhaps that will help with the glare. It's so bad that I've considered using an anti-glare screen protector like you can get for the iPhone.

Edit: Even more off topic (sorry!) Does anyone know approximately how much the parts cost for the latest front bumper and related hardware for the (99 spec?) bumper? I have an estimate for a respray and slight repair work on my stock front end ($700). I'm wondering if I should fork over the extra cash for one like yours.

 

IMO the head unit is one of the best for Ipod management( i no longer own CD's). If you have the auto dimmer feature hooked up and running that should aid in combating glare.
