Looks like every other wannabe "drift" themed FD out there now. Stock was better.
Haraguchi's widebody FD was the only one of that style that was done right.

since you guys are posting your projects...i might as well chim' in since shes finally sprayed...
color is similar to the Lambo LP640...a Pastel Grey.
If your going to gut your car...might as well do it right! all holes shaved/welded/filled...
Custom wrapped interior Alcantara Suede w/Red stitching.
STILL SOME WORK TO GO, BUT PROGRESS IS A BEAUTIFUL THING.

Thanks! The only problem is those beefy tires rub the chassis when I turn the wheel, but only to the right. The tires are quite a bit taller than the stock wheel/tire, about 1.5" IIRC, so I'm looking for some tires that are a bit shorter but still the width I want/need.
Correct. It took a lot of time and elbow grease.
I couldn't tell you how much it costs cause a buddy and I did it ourselves. Well, we did most of it anyway. You'll need a fender roller, a lot of time and patience, and plan to paint the fenders because I'm not sure they can be stretched, especially about 2 inches, while saving the paint.
I'm actually kinda wanting to change them a bit, to more of a bubble than a definite lip. If I do that, I won't be doing it myself again haha.
Oh, after my buddy and I pulled them out, the body shop (I was getting paint and body work done at the time, long story) went over it with a hammer and dolly and then smoothed it with filler, sanded, and painted.
Haha, I didn't even think about that. That's the only DGRR I was able to make before I moved from NC to here. I hope to make it again someday.
Thanks!

Looks good man! I'm gonna have to make my way to Denver to see it.
Nice! Is that your garage or a shop? I need something like that. Post some pics when it's finished.
That's one of the kits I used to want when I first got the car. I've only seen it on the Sexy Style drift FD. Should be interesting to see on someone else's.
Are you really that ballin' to put an RE Amemiya sticker on the front lip? LOL I'd be afraid of it getting scratched up, but I guess it IS just a sticker haha.
Which holes did you shave and why? Did you determine which ones you'd need for later or are you keeping the car gutted? That's an interesting color too.
And that interior is something I've been wanting to do for a while, damn you LOL. Actually I should thank you because now I KNOW it'll look good.

I love the stock 99 spec look very very much but my car's gonna turn into more of a track set up with either feed or amemiya widebody kit.
