They are fake. They were on when I bought the car. When I replace the front and rear and have it repainted I will be taking them off

Here is another picture of the car.. white balance was off and took them few times before battery died.. I think I'm going to keep these and forget about getting the XD9s.. Maybe later on, get powder coated satin black or something... but more I look at them, I like the gold on MB.
Gold wheels look good in certain color cars like Black, Grey, white and some blue's

i just don't like the way they look on your montego blue Deals Gap. and the offset is not aggressive enough to go with the aggressiveness of your car. they would look nice in black or gunmetal

don't listen to the guy who has gone through 5 diff set of wheel in the past 8 months

LOL! Would having Tan carpet help??

But in next month or so, black carpet and black Recaros will go in.

WHERES MY SMACK BUTTON. one leather is not going to grip you better than the fabric on those seats, two red fabric is from factory im going to guess you have no clue that those came in the 2002 Spirit R. Btw i think the wheels look great, not the best color for montego blue but they look damn good.

Thanks! I think I'm going to end the FS thread and keep these rims.. I also realized that it will fit my Cosmo and I think it might look better on the Cosmo.

i'm now debating if I should still pick up a set of XD9s or not.. Anyone want some SSR comps so I could pick up a set of XD9s??

Deals Gap, I personally like how it looks. If you're not completely satisfied, consider different color lug nuts. Thats all about I would change. Looks great.

As far as the fins the bumper, thats my first go at building a grill; i'm not sold on it yet. Something needs to go there though cause I didnt like the open look and that shitty mesh just screams ricer.

Are you going up against grave digger in this years monsterjam?

I'm guessing you haven't gotten around to suspension work yet, but the project looks interesting.

Leather is not going to make that much difference on bucket seats that's the reason why almost all exotic cars come with leather seats. And like I mentioned before just because they are Spirit-R and came red from factory doesn't mean you can't change the trim.

Found this in another thread:

Don't get me wrong.. I do like what Gordon did with his car..

But...

I sold my old Spirit R seats to get these because these were in mint condition. When I had the older Spirit R Recaros with faded cloth, I did get an estimate to recover in suede. The quote was $1500-2500. For say $1500, I rather get a new set of wheels to match the interior vs changing the interior to match the wheels.. Wheels are dime a dozen these days (except select few wheels, ie my gun metal Gram Light 57C) vs. Spirit R seats.
