Post Some Pics of your FD! :D <- Pics of your car go in this thread!!
They are 5zigen GN+
17x8.5 +38 Front
17x9.5 +38 Rear
Suspension
Tein springs
He sold this FD, bought a supra, sold that and bought his FD again or something to that nature but i know he bought the same FD twice lol
I cruised with him one time and he beat the ever living **** out of it.
Sinned, its a gorgeous car but damn you got an abused one lol.
At least he put nothing but quality parts on it. And it def looks like in good shape, since last time i saw it. Good job with that.
Why is it a big deal?
People who buy sports cars should know it gets driven hard every once in a while.
I didnt say i followed that car day after day and saw him beat the hell out of it.
I just said i cruised with him once and he was beating the hell out of it. No big deal.
The owner before me beat on my car i assume. He was a mazda mechanic and also an engine builder.
Lets not make this a big deal.

And As far as it being abused... I guess u mean driven??? Its funny what a lot of owners consider abuse.....
Its my Daliy driver....Its seen rain, Cloudy skies, and get this........weather under 60 degrees!!!!!!..even some snow (Wasnt too fun thoe).... It also survived a 13hr drive to and from north Carolina.
And is about to make another one this April.
I guess to some this might be abuse too...
Id say I got a ??used car??? that was well takin care of.....

Thanks for commenting man. I was hoping this wouldnt be a big deal since its NOT a big deal.
But im glad you posted with such maturity.
Yeah i didnt mean what i said to sorta put you down saying you got a crappy car, because you didnt. It was sorta like a joke. Because i know that car myself, and still seeing it now in the best of condition that wan kept it, amazes me. Sports cars that are driven, get driven hard. You know that, i know that, everyone else should as well. How you define "driven" is entirely up to you.
You did a great job in keeping the car in perfect shape, which is what i said. Wan also daily drove the car in rain, sleet, snow whatever which is also amazing..
Recently detailed by Envious Detailing here in Huntington Beach. Turned out great! This is my 10th year of owning the car and its never let me down. It definitely deserved a little TLC! Check out the thread on Autopia for more pics:

^^^ Wow!
They brought your paint back from the dead!
the side mirrors looked toasted to me.
Did they repaint them, or were they able to save the factory paint?
looks great!
now get yourself a non gnarring wash mit & a car cover.

No repaint, except touching up the rock chips (none of which were on the mirrors). The mirrors are much better but will still need a repaint to really be like new again. Nevertheless, a huge improvement. After moving to Huntington, I have no driveway, and I started taking the car to a "100% hand wash" place. Big mistake. I think the main problem is that the car wasn't always totally clean when they started drying it. From now on I'm going to a wash-it-yourself place.
You damage looks like #1 from hard water. Are you parking next to a sprinkler? A few days of that without polishing it out will end up leaving those types of droplets.
#2 the swirl marks are from a polish job done with one of those hand polishing machines, or the car being run through an automated washer like those at the gas station. A person drying a car by hand can't really make those swirl impressions in the clear coat. If anything it would be scratches done in a straight motion.
IMO it is more fun to wash your own car but I think you are blaming the wrong culprit.
Its a shame you don't have garage space, how close are you to the beach? My friend lives a few blocks away (in HB) and occasionally gets a saltwater layer on his car so beware.
huh?????

Your car looks so nice, nothing like fresh/clean/nice VR paint on an FD!!
