believe me man, those things go on for shows and photoshoots...i take em off as soon as possible lol...but 19s are the bomb on the 7...look sick and if chosen properly wont rub or anything, great for the daily driver

Just picked up this FD about 2 weeks ago.


Can anyone tell me where the hose on the right side of the airbox connects to? i checked the FSM but i couldnt find out where the hose ends up. thanks

 

Its been awhile since I had one of those installed but I don't think it connects to anything.

^ yea, i found that mysterious hose on a friends stock FD also. makes no sense to not connect anywhere it would be sucking in unfiltered heat soaked air???

It's connected to a baffle inside the airbox that helps deaden the noise of the airpump- don't worry about it.

 

Im not too sure why there is a stain there, the car just came with it. It has an oil leak (that leaks until half full on the dip stick) that i thought was from the oil pan but there appears to be oil all over the driver side of the engine and on the sub frame. So Its possible that there is a leak higher up in the system that i just haven't found yet. Or the previous owner somehow spilled an oil all on the engine and neglected to clean it up. There is some oil is in weird places

Anyways thanks for the help with that mysterious hose.
