yea i get what you mean. befor i bought the rx7 i looked into prices and saw what i was getting into lol not going to be a cheap project but should still be a fun one none the less
^^^ if you guys are reffering to me. lol its ok i have been building hondas and nissans for almost 8 years. i got the mazda knowing what i was getting in to, but the price i paid for mine i just couldnt pass up the chance to build something new lol but thanks im sure ill regret this soon enough. but i love buildin cars so hopefully it takes awhile to get to the regret point.
for the amount I'm now into my FD, I could have had built one super badass GTR... and actually be driving it around.
hahah i know right??? the shop i found to make the motor mount brackets took almost 4 months to make...
but i finally got them, motors in. waiting on my UIM and LIM to get finished powdercoated. and also pickin up a dual 25 row oil cooler kit this weekend too

My fd is finally worthy to post up on this thread. Been on this site for years and have never posted a pic of my car. Well it was originally VR and got it this done over the weekend.

Spyder I really like what you did with the car. I've always wanted a strict up spec'd OEM car it just seems so expensive and time consuming to do. I salute your tenacity.

lol Thu, my photoshop skills are uninspiring at best. Working on those rear brakes, I was actually surprised how fast we found the front brakes for you.

Hopefully taking the meisters to the powdercoater this week, ordered 305/30 and 255/25 Michelin ps2 tires this week too so I am hoping to have the car on the ground by the end of next week.

I too haven't posted in the 2 years or so I've been a member, but will very soon as I love this site!
