450 for a pair is actually a good price. Ramy sells a pair for 475 shipped. Other sites I've found them charge over 500 for the pair. So unless you can find someone selling a decent used pair for cheaper than 450, that's about as cheap as you'll find them.

hey ,
99 -spec taillights are about $450-500. One thing you might consider is 'converting' them yourself. All you need to do is spray circles on the taillights basically. No one can really tell the difference and you can use that $500 to make your car faster, instead of blowing it on 'cool taillights'. I had a friend do mine for $50, if you search on the forum you should be able to find instructions on how to do it (its easy) or someone who you can ship yours to be done for around $50 or 60.

I converted mine myself for under $15. And it can be done for even less.

My car is a 93 R1 i picked up last May. It's in it's 100% stock form... that's how i wanted it, so i could do what I want to it! Only 75000 km's ( 47000mi )... The metamorphosis has begun and i will update pics when i feel it's worthy to be shown!
Great place to be... here on RX7club, i appreciate the immense library of info it offers... as i've often read on different posts "this forum OWNS!!!" cheers guys and hope to keep learning and meeting more enthusiasts like me that love these wonderful beasts!

Here's mine. I finally decided to get some postable pics.
I know it sits kind of high, I just finished stripping it out( dash, carpet, sound detning, anything and everything unneeded). I also know I dont have work wheels on it. The car used to have Emotion CR Kai's but I sold them for wider wheels.
