My Daily Commuter...for almost 14 years....'94 Base Model..got it in 11/94. Just got the replacement R1/R2 spoiler this past week. Will get some replacement rear window tint sometime soon...it's been on there since the day I drove it off the dealer lot as well.

Back in the game!!!! NO 56k!

After a New Jersey dump truck took my last beauty away from me, and after months & months of searching, I am finally back in the game. For all you nosy types, I paid 22,700 for the car w/ a spare set of stock wheels w/ new tires.

See this thread here for details on what happened to my old car:

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/r-i-p-rosemary-5-14-07-a-652565/

As of today, I am the proud owner of a 1993 CYM R1 w/ 48k (all original) on the clock.

Details:

Engine, etc:
- 99 spec turbos
- Greddy Exhaust
- supple rubber everywhere (engine looks CLEAN)

Suspension:
- SS Brake lines
- D&S Rotors
- 19" iforged wheels w/ a dish so deep you could sleep in them

Exterior:
- paint 9/10 (some fading on the bumpers, wing as expected)
- body 9.5/10 (small scuff on the front bumper, random rock chips) the paint is DEEP on the actual aluminum panels with NO door dings (couldn't beleive it) and no corks from dent removal.

Misc:

- Stereo system which is not my cup of tea, but easily cost the first owner 6k in parts & custom molding. Its really clean (sound & install) but just not my thing)
- The car has a history w/ KD rotary (which is always a plus)

Great to see someone got the car who will respect it. I had my eye on it, but I just bought my second CYM from an old gentleman in Missouri When I get my first CYM back running again, we should have a little yellow-fest somewhere... get Amp down with his and take some pictures

Don't know about the RX8 wannabe taillights and RX8 wheels. Other than that, it looks pretty nice.

My thoughts exactly, but the wheels were really cheap. They are coming off this year sometime though. Just dont know which ones to get next
