I'm not a fan of chrome wheels either, but those wheels would probably look good if they were aluminum with the polished lip. Other than that and the tail-lights, nice ride.
(It's all opinion, though)

Do I have to say???? 40!!! I did a lot of the mods my self. Bought the car 2-yrs ago from a older gentleman in cali. It had 10,500 miles when I took delivery. Paid a little over $20,000

Why would you put Lambo doors, especially on a fairly stock car? To each his own, but even so that's one mod that should really never be done or ONLY on an extremely modified vehicle.

And the Revolution...
Jesus go put that thing back in your garage, you shouldn't pull it out whenever you want and show everyone. It makes people jealous. Nice ****** car. I saw one on ebay the other day with 12k miles on it. I'm gonna talk someone into buying it.

BTW: If what you meant by "whats your version" is asking what kind of car I have, it's definitely much more modified than yours and STILL no lambo doors EVER! That's not to say they wouldn't work, but I feel theirs a reason they're called lambo doors and that's because they were meant to be on a Lamborghini.

Congratulations on the find!
First off I would like to welcome you to the club. I hope you are not turned off by all the criticism. People here in the rotary community like to keep these cars at a certain standard. Meaning, not riced up like a Honda civic or any cheap commuter car made to look fast.
You are very fortunate to acquire a very low milage FD... That's basically it, you've done it, there is nothing else that needs to be done. Just the low miles alone makes the car so desirable and it's natural beauty. By you modding it all out, doors, lights, gaudy chrome wheels, makes it over done, tasteless, and almost looks vandalized....
Maybe that's why people here thought you were some young kid who doesn't know any better. When you stated your age people started to become repulsed and disgusted... Remember the Third Generation RX7 has a reputation for exceptional engineering and design... By you adding those extra things mentioned makes the car look cheap and common... Instead of taking steps foward you've taken a few back...
My advice to you is get rid of the lights, chrome wheels and doors...
If you want shiny aftermarket wheels buy some high end light weight polished high performance wheels. Remember, cheap wheels makes the car look cheap, and gaudy chrome makes you and the car gaudy...
Lights, by all means throw them away.....
Doors, store them away until you have enjoyed the car for 60,000 miles and you are on you second motor.... An FD with low miles should be appreciated for what it is and not to be messed with.......
Just my 2 cents.
Good Luck!
Dwayne

Nice VR you have there. Man I thought I had low miles...I broke 30k the other day.
Oh and all the appearence stuff: After being a member of this forum for a while you'll quickly learn whether you want to be accepted by the members of rx7club.com or the general public, mixture of car guys and/or the Fast and Furious guys or just yourself. Nine times out of ten at any carshow you'll attend, the car guys that are there (not FD guys) and the general public will think your lambo doors are unique and neat to look at. This is not true for the majority of FD guys. They view the FD as a vehicle that needs nothing other than rwhp.
I've been flamed on here for using certain words to describe these kind of FD guys but I will refrain as I'm about as torched as one can be, but just don't expect anyone on here to buy you a beer because in your head your FD is awesome...you'll end up with a disappointing outcome. Just my .02

Hus. Thanks for the nice comments.. I am learning what these FD owners are like. You are right about everything you said. I take everything they say with a grain of salt... After all from what I see most are still living with mom & dad in there basement...

Guys, I bought my FD with 27k miles on it. It now has 112k miles on it. You wouldnt know it by looking at the car (have replaced many parts) but the low miles don't last forever. These cars demand to be driven, go out for a cruise
