Nice cars!!!!! And clean
This rotary is from Barcelona. I'm enjoying it since 6 months ago, and I'm a very happy owner. The mods are pettit racing unlimited ECU, Apexi power intake, Megan Racing catback & downpipe, Bonez hi-flow cat and HKS ssqv BOV. Besides it is also running a koyo racing radiator, pettit racing air separator tank, a/f ratio, water&oil temperature and boost pressure gauges and FC thermoswitch. Next mods will be Greddy pulley kit, Apexi avc-R and Blitz SMIC intercooler.
Oh, I forgot!!! the engine is a brand new 3000 miles 13B from Mazda

BTW, what type of gauge/tach faces are those...look different from stock of course?

Pictures aren't posted for your opinion, they are posted to display the owners car. If you add your opinion, you choose to do it. I don't see anywhere did the OP ask if his wheels are to big.

Here is my 1994 RX-7 R2. I bought it 4 years ago completely stock (it had boost/vac and exhaust temp gauges though). Original paint, original body parts, original everything. I put no food, drinks, smoke, or even change in the ashtray (it scratches). It still has the new car smell. Not quite like it did 4 years ago, but it's still there. It had 8600 stock miles on it. It now has 41k. It was so pristine that I havent really modded it yet. I plan very soon to do the reliability mods. I love this car and I want to keep it pristine as long as I can. It does have one very small dent on the left edge of the hood, but that's it. It stays under a factory cover in a garage, right beside Misty, the 916. I even have it parked in front of a Japan flag, just like the Ducati is in front of a Italia flag. I owned a Peter Farrell supercar "edition" for two years prior to this one. I had to sell it for money issues then. I regretted it ever since. I found this one that was basically stored in a climate controlled garage its whole life by a pretty rich guy. I had to drive 7 hours to get it but it's been so worth it. Maybe I'll find some pics of the inside and post sometime. It's just so flawless I LOVE IT! Long live the FD!

Regardless, it is just an opinion. There are far more important things in life to press issue with than those, and if you're seriously going to get your feelings hurt because someone expresses their opinions about something, then perhaps you should evaluate your priorities in life. You want to get defensive about something, find something worthwhile to get defensive about.
it's not my car so it isn't my feelings we are talking about.

This forum is now full of ******** that just because they are anonymous they say the dickiest of things. Just because, with no reason behind it. That's exactly what you did. The guy probably spent close to 20K just on looks alone (and it's his pride and joy) but you just had to to say something negative when NOBODY was asking you. That's being an *******.

so where's your car?

pleaassee, I'm not going to take 'style' advice from anyone on Rx7club. This site is sooo watered down & generic, with people who wanna revamp their cars appearance by going ***** deep in purchasing a 99 spec lip, tails, and 57pros in a +50 offset.

I dont care how much you guys like for all your cars to look the same, or how amazingly beautiful you think Mazda nailed it from the factory. I don't chime in when unasked to on you're car, pull your finger outta your *** and do the same.

so where's your car?
My car is sitting in my driveway. And I've posted it in plenty of places. It has been picked apart more so than I can guarantee the majority of FD's on here have been, and regardless of other people's opinions on how my car looks I'm still going to do whatever it is I want to do with my car.

For the record, I'd say exactly what I did here if it were in person; however, you coming in here to tell me how much of an ******* I am is just adding a degree of ignorance to your character. The car I said the quoted text about probably has done tons of engine work as well atop of the "20k on looks alone."

When I originally hit the post button I got the tech error screen, and the original text went on about how I wish I had the kind of money put into that car, and how even though it isn't something I would do personally it looks fantastic. I didn't feel like retyping everything I had originally typed out and therefore left it at how I would put 11,000 dollars into something other than appearance.

Regardless, I'm not looking for some kind of war here. Who really cares? Its not like you FD guys even look at us FB guys as anything anyway. (Waiting for the "You spent what? 500 dollars on your car and you are going to criticize an FD?" statement to prove your FD Elitist attitude.)

hey 7rocket, what's up with your "mouth" (the central air intake)? It's a stock bumper I know, but it's different than mine. I wonder why.

And yes, I do like the FD best, then the FC, and FB. But what's all this animosity between us? Just because someone likes another generation better or maybe it's all they afford right now, doesn't mean we should be *sses. We are all the same here... rotorheads.

I should have just kept my opinions to myself because apparently we shouldn't be allowed to openly express them on a supposedly open board. I have love for all sevens, which is why I am in this thread to see all of the sevens. Just like the FB most of all, followed closely by the FD. Everytime I spot another seven though, I always try to get them to stop and chat. I've just only gotten one friendly FD owner (aside from at Rotary Revolution a couple years back). At RR that year it just seemed like everyone was friendly due to the nature of it being an all rotary event.

Anyway, carry on. This FB owner is done with the comments.

You know he's right though. Come to think of it, most FC's I come across want to be a jack@ss when I thought we'd be on friendly terms. It has surprised me plenty. When I see another 7, yeah I'd like to be friendly and maybe even chat about rotaries or something. I'm not looking to be an enemy or anything. But some people are like that. We all buy what we like. I chose the FD because I like it the best. If I liked the FC or FB better I would have bought it. Money is not what it's about. I spent $25250 on my FD 4 years ago. If I was into FC's I would spend $25250 on it if that's what it took. I do envy the other gens relative simplicity though! And Glitch, I know I'm new here on this forum, but I think you should speak freely, everyone should. I guess what everyone is really trying to say is sure you can say anything you want, but sometimes it's just more decent to not say it. That's all.

He was pretty AND rich?! Haha, I'm just messing with you. That is one gorgeous car you got there. I wish mine was in that shape, with those miles. What part of NC are you? I'm right next to Fayetteville.

Exactly why I copy and paste EVERYTHING. I can't count how many times this has happened to me, and I thought it was my POS computer. Heh

Now that's not fair, not all of us are elitist. I try to stop someone driving ANY rotary myself to talk to them. Actually I'm trying to get at least one of each generation, along with the other rotaries throughout the years, just because "it's not the skin on the outside that matters", haha. I got two FBs for free (well only one confirmed so far) and I'm trying to get an FC too, for free hopefully haha. But I plan on restoring all of them. I just hate getting classed as an elitist just because I drive an FD, that's BS.

I most certainly didn't mean to come off like I had something against the guy. If I saw the car running around on the street, I'd try to get him to stop and try to socialize with him just like all the other sevens I see. If he were to ask me what I thought about him, I would have said exactly what I said on here.

For a show car that thing is insane. I'm just not quite a person who is into show. I'm all about throwing my car into a turn as fast as I can, and not worrying about whether or not I am going to damage the exterior of it, and that is all the more I was meaning by it. I didn't mean that he did something wrong with his money, just saying my money would have been spent in a different way.

I've been trying to copy everything lately but its just getting downright ridiculous how often they are occuring.

I'm only speaking from personal experiences. I know there are a ton of you out there that aren't elitists whatsoever. The guy who was attacking me about my opinion on the bodykit, however, is the only person I was directing the statement at. Due to him attacking me for stating an opinion that I had makes it seem like that would be a statement he would have retaliated with.

Damn, I have to agree with this 100%, except I don't necessarily want to damage mine, haha. I don't see the point in having a sports car that just sits there looking pretty though, RUN THAT BITCH! The thing is, if something happens to it, 90% of the time it can be fixed. Well, 100%, but you better have a TON of money and sometimes even then it's not worth it. For the record, I hate Veilside for doing that to an FD, but it's his car, and the thing is damn clean, so more power to him. I agree with you though, I definitely would have spent my money differently.
