mazdaspeed replacement air filter?

does anyone have any experience with the mazdaspeed oem replacement panel filter? Corksport sells it for $89.

I'm deciding which panel filter to get. genuine mazda, k&n or mazdaspeed, anyone got experience with these?

i'm planning to get a racingbeat air inlet duct too, do they work well?

Thanks,

Randy

$89.00??? Holy Shitnoids Batman!. Buy the K&N drop in - half the price, not only up front, but 5 years from now you'll realize it's one of the best (and cheapest) investments you'll ever make in ANY vehicle. (and it feels sooooo good to clean it and look at all of the junk that settles out in the bottom of the wash pan........)
Smear a little high temp grease along the edges when you install it to give it a really great seal.

Exactly the question I was going to ask.
I am thinking about putting my stock intake back on and getting a k&n drop in and the cold air inlet from racing beat.
Please! someone share some knowledge. Would this be a better setup than the apexi power intake?

I would say yes because cold air is much better than the hot from the apexi system. The duct is great to. I have this setup on my car and have the dyno charts that prove that this idea isn't bad compared to others. Take a look at my web site for more of my thoughts and the dyno.
