M2 copy intake

I remeber seeing a copy (post on the forum) of the M2 cold air box a few months ago. I now have someone offering to sell one of these boxes to me. Does anyone have experience with this "copy". Are there any fitment issues?
thanks alot!!!

M2 copy

If you don't buy it will you please let me know. I need a smaller box that will work with my medium size FMIC.

Thanks

That "copy" might have been the CWR intake box. I understand they're quite similar, but that the CWR has better fitment. I don't own either so I can't really comment on performance.

You might have seen an Rx7 Fashion intake box. Check out the Rx7Fashion web site.

I have one that I'd like to sell for $300, purcahased new for $400 while on sale. Used for 1 year and approx. 8K mi. Only blemish is some spoted discoloration on the gray powder coat from cleaner splashing on it. This box is smaller than M2's so the filters get kinda smushed together. The K&N filters have been cleaned and re-oiled. Has fittings for emissions equiped car or I have caps to plug or the unused connections. PM me if interested.

Ah no...The CWR intake is carbon fiber but it's just panals crudely assembled together. Nobody makes anything like the M2 intake in my opinion. It is a work of art to behold, and I'm happy to say I GOT ONE!!

The one that you're talking about was posted by Jason (the Forum owner). He has a guy that's working on getting the price lower than the M2 but Jason believes that the system won't be available for sometime to come. The original post date was around 6/10/01.
