Well you cant get it into gear! In my case it was reverse that I couldnt get into. It had high miles with no rebuilds. I had the whole things done. Gears and syncros and bearings, shift forks etc. After all that I could have just bought a new one. I reccomend. buying a new trans. For one you can possible replace all the worn out parts for less. Also the rebuilt trans will never be a new trans. Also there is allot of incompitence when it comes to people rebuilding these FD transmissions. Mine cost 1700+ from Malloy Mazda to rebuild. I also got a short shifter and ACT clutch at the same time. Imagine how much I have in the trans and its not even new. It works fine but a new trans would have been much better and much slicker. Thats my opinion. Also PFS has some new transmissions they will sell for low $2k. To me thats a bargain.

man these cars are expensive thanks for the info...my car was just feeling weird when i was putting it into gears (like you said almost hard to do, but i could do it). i guess this could be the problem. but yeah...i am with you on the new stuff part...there is nothing better than new stuff...that way you know it is done right! thanks again.
