Question Fuel Filter Replacement

Ok I'm ready to change my fuel filter, purchased a purolator from Pep boys, drove over to a friends shop and jacked the car up to look for the filter and guess what......I (we) didn't see anything under the car that looked like the filter I purchased. Is this thing on the drivers side over the axle inside a plastic container ???? This realy is going to be a PITA if that's it ?????

Thanks Len,
When it quits raining here I'll change it. Looks like the motor will happen soon than I had planed. By the way you still going to sell me the switch and mounting brackets for those for lamps I got from you ????/ I see you have a front cover for sale .... is this the one you were going to put on ??? Keep in touch, Jack

if i was you id relocate it while your under there.....
just put in a straight hose right there where it usually is and then cut a fuel hose (i forget which one is recommended - read it on a few websites) and install the filter on that hose in the engine bay

search around on the net and youll find it...probably on rob robinette's site if someone cant help out on here

i havent done this yet on my car but i plan on doing it the next time i change my filter.
