BlackR1: How many cans did you need to do all the plastic pieces?

Thanks!

Actually, the dash is a different color :p They might look different, but its because the light hits the paint at a different angle

It took about 2 and a half cans with a healthy amount of layers. At only 5 bucks a can, it beats shuckin out 200+ for cliched carbon fiber. The AC controls are all removeable, about 20 screws to dismantle all the ***** and buttons, after that, a lot of careful prying to remove the indicator labels which are tape/glued on. In retrospect, it might be a lot easier to use a blowdryer to soften the glue prior to removal.

I bought Easy Lift Off at the Hobby Store for 11 bucks...I used maybe 1/50th of the can, its a really good paint stripper

Next im gonna clear coat it

how were you able tp paint the door handles? they aren't removable are they? and by the way you are 100% correct this beats that chezzy carbon fiber that everyone seems to be getting? no offense to anyone but carbon fiber, unless your hood or your car's entire body, is played out. my opinion.

Like what Johnny said... I've had my car for a few months now and this was the first time gutting the interior...I dont have the shop manual and just dove right in...it's an easy job, just takes some time

This link will assist you in removing the dash...everything else is fairly simple

Thumbs up

Looks great! Thanks for the info. Darker would probably look better, but the contrast is nice. How about a car Noah car cover ?I love mine. It knocks the inside temp down 10 - 20 degrees.
