DAMN 3K hesitation! ideas?

I've gone through and cleaned all the grounds, and i've added 6 additional grounds all over the place - grom big 4 guage braided to thinner 10 guage braided and cabled. from the battery to the frame and car itself, and from the engine to the car itself and the frame. from behind the cat to the body. everywhere!

although it has helped some, its still there! argh!

i've run injector cleaner in the gas, reset the ecu....

now looking for other ideas - thoughts?

i'm running a stock ECU and a PFS PMC .

Thanks

ps - i can't afford the PFC!

You need to save up for the PFC. Until then I would put the stumble behide you. The stock ECU is a piece of ****. The way my car ran after the PFC was installed made me think mazda should recall all rx-7s and put on of these in it. No bucking or 3000 rpm hesitation, it will drive almost like a normal car. Thats the only thing I can tell you dude, sorry.

Same with me. The PFC fixed the 3000 RPM stumble. I had two 3rd gens with the problem. I've heard that the G-Force reprogram fixes it as well, but I've not verified it.

Wurd. A brand new ECU will do the trick. Hey shotcalla, have you gone to GT Welding and High Performance Mazdas for any of your upgrades?

I've tried just about everything myself and I can't get rid of it. The more mods I do the worse it gets. I guess I'll have to cough up for an Apexi PFC to get rid of it.

stock ecu = crap = 3000K hesitation

Sometimes I thought that my car would actually shut down and quit on the highway at 3K rpms - it's a little embarrasing to say "yeah, it's supposed to do that"

Power FC = $830 already tuned for dp, intake, and cb = 25 rwhp = NO 3K hesitation = smoothest delivery of power especially with many mods

Any questions?

while my 3k hesitation is barely there....the gforce did nothing to curb the problem...tis still there

dont get anything other than the pfc....the others are just short term solutions til you do it right...and an expensive one at that...argh..in other words...no nitrous til the pfc haha
