93-95 RX-7 Back Seat
Is there any way to get a back seat for a RX-7 3rd gen?
Im looking to buy a RX-7 1993, but have a kid. The only way the Mrs. would allow something like this is if it has, or i can get a back seat for it.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

duude!!!
this car is NOT a family car!
you can get a back seat for it(use the search feature, we just had a post about this a few days ago), but man... i seriously dont know about putting a kid back there
i really doubt a carseat would fit correctly.
But of course, i'm not sure, and im not sure if you
need a carseat or not.
U sure you cant keep another car for a daily driver?

Back seats are available. We've seen several being sold on this forum. Some are being imported from England, where they're also available.
If you buy one, make sure you get not only the seat, but all the pieces that go with it such as side trim panels and seatbelts.
It's tight back there, but if you move the passenger seat forward,
I would think you could fit a baby car seat back there. (Not sure if width would be a problem or not. Each seat bucket in the back is very narrow.)
Maybe someone who's installed one will jump in on this thread.

sup....
hey you imed me the other day and said "email me please, you seem to know a good amount about RX-7s , any clue where and how much rear seats for a 3rd gen would cost?"
well ive seen them for sale on www.thepartstrader.com every now and then but for a wide range of prices. i saw one set go for 1500 and another sell for 500. i think they are fairly expensive becuase they have to be imported from japan or england as someone said. basically youll have to look around pretty hard to find one stateside. i would say go get a cheap used 4 door honda or something and save up a little more before going with the 7.
feel free to hit me back on IM....i should be around
