Exclamation ZEngine Quakes!!!!!!

Hey everyone,
So I have a 88 rx7 GLX and its been good to me for about 4000miles. Whenever its cold the engine would shake around 4000rpm until it warmed up but lately it started shaking around 2500. I also noticed a leak in the gasguet behind the waterpump and I replaced that today. So after I did the work I started it up and now the engine is shaking at all times even at idel. I cant even drive it, it is so shakey. Is my engine about to go? Are my apex seals done? is it the mounts? Please help this car is really starting to frustrate me!!!

visually inspect the mounts, shake the engine by hand when its off and parked to see if theres any slop. also do a compression check. and are you sure its not running on one rotor due to a fouled plug? vibration can be a lot of different things.

If one rotors dead is that one still gonna pump compression when its turned over?

it depends why its 'dead'. if its dead because its not firing because the plug is fouled, then yes, it will still have compression. if it is 'dead' because every apex seal is shattered into a million pieces, then no, it will not still have compression.

Really sounds like perhaps you have a fouled plugs.. after it warms up a bit and heats up the plugs.. starts to run smooth..

So replace all the plugs and see how that helps.
