Question Your Thoughts on Compression Numbers when Buying a Low Mileage S4 NA Motor

Need some thoughts from people. My 86 with 73k on it was wrecked in the front destroying the radiator but leaving the rest of the engine bay more or less intact. As such it's a bit difficult to warm up the motor properly to get compression numbers without rigging up an external coolant bath. If you were in the market for buying a low mileage S4 NA motor how important to you are compression numbers? How much of a price premium would you pay for those numbers? Thanks.
