are you satisfied with your exhaust?

so who has the bonez cat converter and a apexi GT exhaust on your ride and how doyou like the sound/preformance of that combo?
i was going for the n1 (had that in the past and loved it) but it was sold out, so they offered me the GT instead. i was told it was the same design and preformance, but the only thing different was the full chrome and that it comes out on the opposite side (drivers side).
any other difference that they did not mention? im guessing GTs are better due to the price difference of the n1?

the GT spec is full stainless, my N1 is not. i wish i had the full stainless piping. but i don't like how the GT exits on drivers side.

same here, i didnt like the fact that it came out on the driver side. i guess i was too used to the n1 coming out on the passenger side. imo i still like it exiting out from passenger side. had no other choice at the time of purchasing the GT.

well as for me, i have a corksport header, CS pre-scilencer (2.5 inch) and a CS 3 1/8 inch catback that i installed yesterday... OMG, is it loud! i think i will have to put a scilencer in just to keep my sanity, and the cops off my back.. it really sounds sick tho! true notes of a rotary!

Agreed! True dual sounds like teh sex and whips this car like a greased rat running from flood waters. I'll try to post my video soon. Brap!

I also think I can shoot fireballs, but not sure, since I'm always in the drivers seat. Maybe if I get out real quick to check.

i dont understand why they would change it to the driver's side...i also like single exaust exiting on the passenger side, not to mention at least it is better to distribute the weight on the opp. side of the driver.

the deep sound of the N1 was great with my straight pipe, although other ppl around my house didnt. oh and the ppls cars alarm i set off when passing by..kekeke. sorry about that guys and girls.
love the sound, hate the complaints of others and especially when a cop is driving along with me. dont want him to smell the illegalness and have it towed away.lol can you beleive a cop pulled me over on the freeway. traffic was going about 65, i was i. From way back, cop drives past me and then starts to slow down to get behind me to turn his lights on. i tried to give as little gas as possible but lucky me with my perfect timing, i was climbing a hill on the 10fwy wb passing the 57fwy..for those who know that long *** climb. c'mon now, harleys are much much more louder that any other vehicles on the road.
guess theres many downsides to certain mods.
Dont know how the apex GT will sound. will find out in few days.

Harley guys don't have to worry about getting pulled over for the exhaust b/c it is that way from the factory. Cops can't give you a ticket for buying that bike. If it was an aftermarket exhaust then the cops can give you a ticket. Thats what the books say for VA if I remember correctly.
