I have a question about the sleeves, what way are they supposed to go in? i pulled mine out to clean them and i didnt know wich way they are supposed to go in, im guessing with the port facing upwards but i dont know for sure...

This is for S4 as well as S5. If your gasket doesn't have the mark on it (mine doesn't) it obviously just goes the same way in the pic...





Be careful when you put the LIM back on... the front sleeve got bumped by the actuator rod while I was putting the LIM on and never noticed it... so the port stayed closed.

Has anyone ever removed their actuators and tried to move the sleeves while the car is running? Its hard as hell to move them. They get pretty stiff.

 

Your mechanic sucks. I have a friend that built a 5th and 6th actuation system using the airpump and an rpm switch. He's not even a pro mechanic.
