Yet another TPS thread

Get out the flame throwers.

Should all of the methods for setting and checking the TPS be in sync at ideal setting? That is should only one test light be lit, should the resistance at the plug show 1K and should the voltage at the ECU be 1.0?

As a corollary question to the above...if they aren't, does it mean that the TPS is bad?

Second corollary question to the above...if they can't all be in sync, then which one should be used as the ideal setting?

And finally, does it really matter at all if you can get a rock solid idle?

You bunch of chickens! Everyone has the same problem and probably the same question, but no one is going to step up and offer an answer? Come on all you RX-7 gurus! Where are your stones?

The light method sucks. I have never used it so I have no comparison. I always set the TPS to 1K Ohm at idle per factory specs and have never had a problem.
