alot of the "bouncy" revs ususally come from a vacume leak. As far as the revs going up to 2k, can you make them drop by steping on the gas for a sec... or dose it just fall right back down to 2K? and is it a hard cold start? And as far as your heat issue... TAKE OUT THE THERMOSTAT...hehe... oh and dont use A/C. and check your water pump... hope this helps get from point a to point a1/4...

the bouncyness stops after acouple of revs up tho...so I dun think its a vaccum leak....and the 2k rev stops once I get in a high gear and slow down the car while its still in gear. Also, alot of people say not to run without the thermostat.....and Im going to check my waterpump n **** this week.

Have you messed with your mechanical or electrical idle adjustments recently?

Does she ever settle down to around a 750 rpm idle?

Unplug the bac valve and warm her up- what is the idle now, with no electrical loads?

She idles at around 1k...and Im sorry Im sort of a n00b but what and where is the bac valve? Oh yea anf I forgot to mention before, it revs up slowly and the whole car shakes, even mufflers.
