Question Yearly Expenses

hey, how much do you guys average in a year on car stuff? how much is for repairs and how much for fun stuff? (thinking of buying a TII but i dont want to be repairing and maintaining it constantly and thus have no money for the good stuff)

So far I have spent $340. That includes the purchase price of my car and the towing cost (mainly food for laoding crew) of my free parts car.

Im averaging about 3k a year, but I still havent had mine for a full year yet. Most of its all on performance stuff. It adds up quick. There are people on here that spend a lot more than me.

I have 14K in reciepts for my '88 SE over 4 years. with the exception of an oil metering pump drip and some dash pieces it is as new as can be. It scratches third!!!

Oh yea... that is 250 on chassis 60K on engine and less on everything else. I have noted that parts start failing after the 125K mark.

Besides the intial maintenance/repairs after purchasing, not too much. The TII's held up well and the vert is doing good.

Right now I'm spending money on literature (rx7 magazines, catalogs, etc..), website stuff, and getting a downpipe & perf cat for the convetible.
