Well, every one says the best way to remove the T2 rear end is to unbolt the whole rear section. But hell that seems like the hard way. First you have to jack up the car really high and then u have to remove the rear end and then remove the NA rear to except the donor. After that u have to install the N/A driveline into the turbo II chasis or the car will look like one of those dogs that had its hind legs hit by a car. Is removing the diff and half shafts a lot easier?

Yes, the easiet way is to remove the whole rear subframe.
I thought I could get around to removing the diff without dropping the subframe. Big mistake...it was much more tougher getting to those diff mount bolts. I actually lowered the subframe 6 inches or so and even then it was tough.
If I could do it again, I would just drop the whole rear subframe. I have a write up that I posted a while ago about this.

Haven't we ALL heard this
Just got done lowering the whole rear end (Subframe/diff). It was a lot easier to change the front diff mount. However, Santiago was able to lower the subframe/diff and use an impact wrench to remove the mount.
However, It might be a bitch bring the diff/subframe up to mount it.
Also, if you have ABS you have to find the connecter which is inside the door sill and disconnect it. Or else the trailing arm is stuck with an ABS sensor.
