yayyy! New problem!! intermittent no power problem

Ok the other night I drove my car pretty hard and afterwards when I was on my way home I got a sudden loss of power. I thought I blew an apex seal so I turned off the main road and as soon as I did that I got all the power back??? wierd I thought. Well today I did the same thing, I took the car out to a near by road where I can get the car up to pretty high speeds 100-140 and everything was fine. I park the car at my parents house and help my dad out with his 929 for about 2 hours and get in the car and fire it up to find that it is idling really low like at 500rpm and vacuum was at 10. Well I thought this was wierd so I took off and sure enough no damn power. Crap, Well I said maybe it is a busted engine and I was going to rebuild anyways so now is an opertune time. Anyways a little bit down the road I notice my idle normal and my vac at 14-15 where it usually is. I took off and sure enough I have all the power back. I have no idea what this could be unless my msd is going out however I don't think it is that because I've left the negative battery terminal loose one time making the msd not work and my car just flooded durring driving so I'm thinking if it was msd not working I would have just died and flooded. Any tips would be great! Thanks.

Sounds like you've got a loose hose. Check all your IC piping and such and also check the TID. If it were something else I don't think you'd have your vacuum going all over the place.

SONIC!! whats up man, back on the net I see I'll check all the vac lines and the tid again. Thats the first thing I looked at besides battery terminal but everything seemed ok. I'll check it again though just to make sure.
