XS Power Pack on a FC??
Has anyone use a XS Power Pack Ignition? In the cars listed on the site is specifically says RX7(fd3s). So will it work on a fc? Also will it control all 3 coils?
Thanks for any info.
PS I did search, but its hard to search for this item since XS is only 2 letters.

I'm pretty sure you would just need to disconnect all of the coils from the ignitor (+ side), splice the output of the box, and branch it into all 3 coils, then run power (from your coil/ignitor harness) to the input of the box. Ground on the chassis.
So long as you don't throw this through the ignitor, it should work fine.
You only need one. This works I believe by simply raising the voltage from battery to 20v, which would allow you to just splice to all coils.

all that thing does is raise the input voltage of the coil from 14.4 to 20 volts. You can use a single one but (as Sonic says) you would just have to re-wire the power for the coils to come from a single source.
It is not a CDI or ignition controller, it just ramps up the input voltage. It does not replace a CDI or ignitor system.
I personally doubt that there would be any gains using this over a good CDI system, and would probably have slightly reduced coil life.
Its only real use would be for drag cars that run only on a battery and don't have a alt/gen
