Ok,

First off my car runs great with no loss of coolant or oil. It is a 89 GXL by the way. Anyway it tends to smoke sometimes some on startup however, the smoke smells like **** and is white? Would this be due to a fucked up o2 sensor and clogged cats? If I got out and thrash the car a bit come home, wait a couple of days and try it, no smoke and still smell like ****. I am completely baffled and need some good ole fashion rotary help. Any ideas, I could give a ****, just throw out some ideas. Thanks everyone.

No not yet, I am just gona get a Bonez RP and it just snowed so I am not worried about taking it out soon, only figuring out what is wrong

The smell could be coming from the cats .... Try banging them and see if you hear anything rattling around. Do they start glowing red after driving for a while? If so that's another sign that your cat are going. Sometimes clogged cats can cause loss of power and overheating.

As far as smoking at startup .... I think that's normal for most older 7s

I just went to that Cliff **** or whoevers site.... and i have to say, i lost IQ just by going there. Thats the dumbest most idiotic **** i have ever seen in my life and that man should die. Thank you.

 

A little steam on startup is normal. It just means the cats are warming up. If the exhaust has kind of a sweet taste, that's coolant.

Adjusted your TPS lately? I'd check that before suspecting the O2 sensor. If the o2 sensor is going, that'd make you run rich (black or grey smoke), but wouldn't have anything to do with the white smoke that I can think of. Have you looked at your plugs?

Plugs are new but I shall look at them since the newity doesn't matter, no my car has a lunpy idle, and I think that has to do with the tps so maybe the smoke would follow? I shall try this when that crappy white stuff stops falling out of the sky
