WTF radiator (2 diff same years?) HELP!!

WTF radiator (2 diff same years?) HELP!!
ok.. My rads leakin... so I bought a new one for my year range (89-92) I get it, its totally diff from what I have.. heres the one I bought
and heres my old one
notice the old one has the coolent cap.. and the new one dosnt? did my previous owner put in a diff radiator or somthin? Is there somthing elce I need? because somthin aint right and I dont know waht is is PLEASE HELP

The one you had in your car was from a 89-91 RX-7, the one you bought is from a 86-88 RX-7. Different car's by many SMALL examples: Engine, trans, steering system, brake system, and the cooling sytem. But thats about it, other than that, they are mechanically tha same. YEAH RIGHT!!!
