What's the differnece between downpipe, midpipe and frontpipe. I've been pondering this for a while, now. I know ths downpipe is connected to the turbos, correct? Also what happnens if you run your car from the precat?

turbo>downpipe>midpipe>y-pipe or more midpipe>muffler>tail pipe

like you just run it without the exhaust, straight from the downpipe.

 

it could possibly burn up your undercarriage. I've heard of cars sucking valves from doing that but rotaries don't have valves so i don't know.
