Angry wtf drivabilty prob need help

i got an 88 na the prob is when i turn on my heat my bitch of a 7 starts to buck and just wont climb in rpms or go anywere.... i turn the heat off it runs and drives fine... wtf ... it dose this when it is cold and when it is hot i have checked for vacume leaks none im lost on this one i can damn near fix anything on her but shes got me stumped on this on any ideas

Sounds a lot like the alternator isn't putting out enough when the heater fan is on, and that in turn is pulling down the battery output to the ECU etc. Like maybe a alternator with a couple of blown diodes.

^ Does it happen with the fan on regardless of heater settings? Or can you run the fan full blast as long as the heater is off?

ok was working on the 7 today bac is working alt is putting out 14.40 w/o a load w a load its putting out 13.80v
