WTF am I missing?

This is beginning to tick me off now. I had removed the intake manifold so I could access/repair the air-injection hose, and when done, put everything back and connected all the hoses. the only wires I unplugged were the six-wire connector goint to the stuff on the throttle body/upper-intake-maifold, I did not unplug the airflow sensor. I only undid one ground wire and that has been tightened. I honestly have no idea why she will not run, she just starts and immediately dies. Please help, I'm going up to college on friday and I just want to get this thing running, and there is no-one around Ann Arbot MI. who could help me.

Perhaps you missed an injector connector or it broke? Have you checked for big vacuum leaks?

I don't think the AFM has been damaged as The big plastic bell over it is still completely intact and solid, and as for vac leacks, I removed three hoses, and put them back on just as tight as they came off. Not sure about an injector connector, i only unplugged one connection and I plugged it back in. Not sure there was much oppurtunity to damage it, eveything looks okay.

Never underestimate the ability of frail 20 year old wiring to spontaneously fragment with little intervention. Same for brittle as hell vac lines.

Did you use a brand new gasket between the UIM and LIM? A bit of gasket sealer too doesn't hurt. Sounds like a severe vacuum leak and an old or torn gasket would be a prime candidate.
