Wrapped DP and engine progress

I have included a picture of my wrapped rx7.com DP. I hope that cuts down on the heat. The other pictures are of my engine reinstall project. The turbo is the one redone by Majestic Turbochargers. Picking up an engine hoist from a friend tomorrow morning so I can can that engine back in the car. Hope she starts like it is supposed to!!

It looks nice and I hope everything works out with no problems.
What year engine is that??? What ECU are you using?
Are you using a TII drivetrain?

Question: how are you using the ABS system that is in the pic?

EDIT: I was in Danville VA just a few weeks ago. Let me know how it turns out!!

I will post back about the header wrap. I bought the 1" X 50' roll. I have enough left over to wrap it again when that deteriates.

James, the temperature and the pressure sender is the silver thing right? What is that gold thing hanging on the side? Hmmm now i am thinking, its going to be a bitch to install it while everything is in. Does that piece screw right under the oil filter?

Looks great. My engine bay is almost there, I've just been way too busy lately to fool around with her. Plus, I'm still trying to get money together for an engine. I also have a small hole in the floorpan now from an incident involving a jack stand and my car falling off of the jack.

The silver plate is the adapter plate. The big bronze thing is the pressure sender and the small bronze thing is the temp sender. The install is basic. RB gives you two long studs. These replace the short studs on the regular mounting plate. Then there are two nuts that thread to the bottom of the studs.

I think the effort of doing it is worth the rewards. Being able to see your real oil pressure and temp.

Whew, I hope you were not under the car to wittness that one! When I was pulling the engine I made a mistake. During the first engine pull. I was under the car undoing the three bolts that go into the oil pan on the pass side. The three that go thru the alum. motor mount.

I was undoing those three bolts. I thought with them out the engine would just lift off. So I had the hoist connected to the engine but the chains slack. When the final bolt came out the engine came down. I was under it too!! It dropped only about 3-4 inches. But when I was under it that is too much. Whole damn engine was resting on the ABS pump. Good thing it shock mounted. It gave and didn't break. Thank god. Working on a car sure is a learning experience. The question is, what did it cost to learn?
