man for how much money it cost to change your oil you should do it because you may save 40.00 bucks or so now but you might lose a motor down the road which would be alot more than an oil change..... just my two cents!!!!!

i would just change the oil, yea you can send it out to get it tested but thats goona costs about the same as doing 5 oil changes, the only reason you would send out your oil is if you were to own a big rig and it costs about 200 dollars in oil and its cheaper to send it out. hey if you got the money to waste you could forget the testing and give it to me, **** ill even do your oil change for ya... napa gold filters are of the better quality because they are a wick type filter and provide better filitration then your average orange fram filter.

I've only put about 1100 miles since my oil change and it's darker than me lol, and I'm using Pennzoil. I'm gonna try Castrol GTX since I here so much about it. If it won't make a difference in remaining somewhat clean I'll just switch back. Would you guys recommend the normal stuff or high mileage? Does the high mileage have more of the MMT additives and stuff we need to protect our engines?

J.C. Whitney once carried a filter canister, you screw in place of your regular filter, that you just put a roll of toilet paper for filtration.
