Would this work, you think....

I have never had trouble passing smog with my other project cars, and my RX7 failed horribly. Would it be possible to punch a hole in the catalytic converters to help pass smog, or would there be too loud of a leak leading from this idea. I failed my last test by about 6 times the max polluter limit, so I am getting desperate.

man, just read the FAQ section, there is a real good way to pass.... it's kind of a last resort remedy, but it works!

or, what i've been thinking about doing, is having a bolt on exhaust for everytime i have to pass... just bolt on a custom made exhaust with a bunch of old cats you got lying around and im sure you will pass... or just hand the tester 50$ and give him a wink

the hole theory i dont think will work, the trick is to flow as much air thru the system as you can, you dont have the airpump?

There aren't too many crooked smog techs that take walk ins here in Cali anymore, you need to know someone. The risks for getting caught doing that are way too high here. That may work alot in other states, but doesn't work too well in Cali anymore. The smog lisecense is too expensive and hard to get to just risk it for a couple bucks. I know some guys with liscenses and they wouldn't risk getting caught for anything.

I have done the stuff the FAQ suggested, but my concern is how much I failed last time. Do you think all the info the FAQ suggests is enough to correct my last test?
