Would this work??? (TID)
I've been looking around for misc pipes to make a TID since I can't seem to find a Banzai one anywhere... Well I found this aftermarket intake from an Evo8 and it looks like it may work... I also like the fact that it goes from 3" at the AFM side down to 2" at the turbo side since I'm running the stock turbo... Seems like it would promote velocity for a quicker spool... You guys see any reason not to try it?
I would just get it and junk all the other crap that comes with it... Just need the hard pipe...

I'm a little concerned with it clearing the radiator... I'm running an e-fan so I won't have the clutch fan or shroud in the way, but you guys see anything that would make this a good or bad idea?
Hey 13b4me. The reason I am going with thte bonzai is because I have to somg every other year, and Caliofornia is the **** of states. I have to keep mine as stock looking as possible. HE HE HE... Otherwise, you could use like a prelude one. It is 3" on the turbo side, but you could change that with a coupler. THe route it through the front of the engine bay for a cold intake.

My main objective is getting the filter behind the headlight where it'll go in a cold airbox, while allowing my intercooler piping to have plenty of room... Oh btw I'm running a S4 AFM at the time being... I'll probably rewire it for a S5 AFM until I can get a standalone to save a little space...
i used a intake pipe from a 92-95 honda civic...... used a 3"-2 1/2" silocone reducer... and voila...$30 later... a custom tid
here are some old pics of it..... https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/cleaned-up-engine-bay-bit-pictures-357664/
