Ok, so I wont list my mods, they are my sig.
When I am driving, full throttle or part, when my car hits the point where the 6 ports open(I forget the RPM), the car gets a lot louder and I get a very big power surge. 2nd gear is when it's most noticable.
So given that and my mods, do you think I'm flowing air enough to benefit from removing them? From the factory, the transition is more than likely supposed to be a very smooth one. S since there is such a difference, I'd guess I'd benefit from removing them.
But I'd like your opinions............(I'm bored and want a project.

I keep hearing about ported motors. I always thought it was bad to port a 6-port motor.
You probably want to keep the sleeves in. I think there are only a few circumstances that would you would actually benefit from removing them completely. I thought about it last summer when I had the intake apart, but I was like nahhhhh....
try wiring them open first. see how you like that then go from there. if you don't need to dissassemble the intake in the first place (i.e. the aux. ports are working) then I think you would be crazy to try.
